My name is Grant Berkshire, and I am currently a Senior, about to graduate from the University of Michigan. I am from Los Angeles, California but have midwestern roots that brought me back to this part of the country for school. At Michigan, I majored in history and minored in writing. For my writing minor, I created this website to exhibit my work examining voting in America from this past semester. Since I came to college, my worldview has widened. I arrived a sports junkie who couldn't tell you who my Senator was, but in my time here I have developed a passion for politics and American History. I thouroughly enjoyed writing and researching this thesis as it allowed me to explore my still relatively new passions. I am very happy with how the site turned out and I want to take a moment here to thank my Professor, Raymond McDaniel for all the help he gave me this semester that turned a small idea I had into this website I am very proud of.
