Podcast Intro

For the remediation aspect of my E-Portfolio, I decided to turn my re-purposing paper into a podcast. I have always enjoyed listening to podcasts, usually either about sports or politics and have always been interested in possibly making my own. This project gave me that golden opportunity and the podcast below is what I was able to create. My partner for the podcast is my good friend Clay Knobler (pictured above). In the podcast, we discuss the idea that being a fan of a sports team is like being in a relationship with that team. We break it down step by step and connect our experiences as being fans to each stage of a relationship. This was the first podcast I ever attempted to make, and it was not as easy as I thought it would be. I tried to make it all one take because I didn't think I was going to be able to make it sound cohesive if I attempted to edit separate clips together. The problem with this was having to include the small mistakes Clay and I make at certain times that include losing our train of thought, saying filler words like "uh", or saying something we did not mean to. These small hiccups aside, I think the podcast includes good discussion throughout, and I hope you enjoy it!
